Sarah Millman Carley is Vice-President of Psychological Services of Charlotte and Psychological Associate (LPA) and Health Services Provider licensed by the North Carolina Psychology Board.
Sarah earned a Master’s degree in Clinical and Community Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Since then, she has worked in inpatient mental health and substance abuse detoxification centers, private settings, and community mental health agencies both as a therapist and in management positions. Sarah is also a registered yoga teacher and stresses a holistic view of the person and the link between physical and mental health.
Sarah works primarily with teens and young adults and has a special interest in working with gender dysphoria, transgender and gender non-conforming individuals, relationships, anxiety, personality disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and school/work-life balance issues utilizing largely Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectal-Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques.
She has specialized training and experience in Educational & Psychological assessments. These evaluations can be used to clarify diagnosis, assess for learning concerns, and provide information for development of IEPs or other educational plans.
