DANA BURBRIDGE IS A LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER (LCSW) IN THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA.
Dana primarily works with teenagers (16+) and adults experiencing issues with anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, dual diagnosis, substance abuse and more. She began her social work journey in a public mental health agency providing therapy to individuals and groups. Dana completed her Bachelors’ degree in psychology at University of North Carolina at Greensboro and earned a Masters’ degree in Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.Dana provides a compassionate and safe environment while utilizing a cognitive behavioral approach to help individuals overcome obstacles to move forward and thrive. She uses training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, and Seeking Safety to help individuals achieve balance and reach their goals for treatment. Seeking Safety treatment is designed to address the unique relationship between PTSD and substance use. Dana believes that change happens when people are given the guidance they need to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential to live fulfilling lives.
